Our forever family

We have had so many "firsts" this year. Our first Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and so forth. I have loved blogging about all of these things. They are memories so dear to me that I will never forget them. Along with some of these, Bray and I had our first family pictures taken together! It was especially fun for us because both of our families were there and we got great pictures with all of them. The pictures turned out so cute... Thanks to Annette! She is an amazing, talented photographer and we owe her a ton! She took all of our engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures! Thanks-a-million Annette! We love you!

Bray and I with my family! The Bare clan!

The girls!

The boys!

The "real" Bare family haha I love this picture!

The Bodily clan! I love my new family sooo much!
 The Bodily girls!

Our fun flirty pose!

The guys!

The Bodily side again! Everyone teases me that I must have always been a Bodily and that Bray and I look like brother and sister...luckily we aren't haha! I do seem to fit right in as you can see. I just look like one of them! :)

We both lucked out with the best parents in the whole wide world! We love them so much and will be forever grateful for all that they do for us!

Our entire family! This is by far my favorite picture. We are so truly blessed to have such a wonderful family who always supports us in everything! I hope our family knows how much we love and appreciate them! I am so happy that we are all sealed together for time and all eternity!

Last but not least, here are the pictures of Bray and I! I have loved the past three months with him. I could not have asked for a more loving husband. He is so sweet, kind, patient, forgiving.....and the list goes on and on! I am so glad I get to take on life's adventures with him by my side. He is such an amazing example to me and I look up to him so much! I love him with all my heart and will forever and always!

Our first Halloween

Shortly after getting home from our honeymoon, Halloween came. I have always loved Halloween. Its the one day a year you get to dress up as anything you want! This year was especially fun because we got to celebrate it together and I actually went trick-or-treating haha. Yes I am 20 years old but I guess there are some perks to being little after all! I got all dressed up and went with my sister-in-law and all her friends. We lucked out and got sooo much candy! It was a blast! I love having sisters...never thought I could have so much fun with them! They are the best and make me laugh constantly!

Ken Ken (my sister-in-law), all her friends, and me of course!

Chaz and Jilane...Awww

Kevin and Jilane! I just had to add this picture. Kevin will never live it down. The boys have been making fun of him ever since Halloween! They have been calling him the "Butt Pirate!"

My parents, Tris and Darin! It was pretty entertaining to see them dress up for Halloween. I think it was the first time I have ever seen them dress up for Halloween!

Bray (D Wade), Ella bean Pocahontas), and I (the bumblebee!)

HoNeYmOoN!!!

After all the craziness of planning a wedding, Bray and I got to go on an amazing trip for our honeymoon! We spent 6 days in Playa del Carmen, Mexico! It is a gorgeous place! We had so much fun spending time together and just relaxing on the beach! Here are some fun pictures of our trip...

On the airplane!

The hotel we stayed at was gorgeous and had so many fun things to do and see! Most the time we spent lounging around on the beach and at the hotel swimming pools!

As you can see it was kinda cloudy! It rained some of the time we were there but surprisingly we were thankful for it because it was soooo HOT! Plus I love the rain!

What a cute boy!! ;)

The second day we decided to go into town and get some groceries at the market. Plan A was to find a Wal-Mart near by and buy some food in order to save some mulah! We ended up taking a taxi to the Mexican market. It was such a blast and we loved our taxi driver. Little did we know that he would become our tour guide for the entire week lol! He was super nice and took us to many hidden sites throughout Playa and the surrounding areas. He made our trip much better.

After getting groceries, we stopped at a little restaurant to get lunch! We ordered an empanada (one of Brayden's favorite meals from his mission)! It was huge and very delicious! It was definitely one of highlights for Brayden haha!

MMM MMM MMM!

The third day we went to Chichen Itza! We decided to take a private tour instead of wondering around on our own clueless! We had the best tour guide and it was very interesting to learn about the ancient Maya empire. This is our tour guide Willy...love him!

Some of the cool architecture!

The fourth day we hung out around the hotel and swam on the beach. The beach was so stinkin rocky that we didn't do much swimming to avoid getting all cut up and bruised! I didn't mind to much because I'm not a huge fan of swimming in the ocean. Let's be honest, swimming in the ocean isn't what it's all cracked up to be! It is gorgeous to look at but I'd rather not get nasty salt water in my mouth, eyes, and hair!

Here we are on the beach...notice all the rocks! Luckily not all the beaches were that way!

That night we went out for a special dinner together. We went to a really nice restaurant. We both ordered the chicken alfredo and it was divine! We had the best waiter ever! He cracked me up all night long. Brayden did most of the talking on our trip because he speaks Spanish. The waiter asked me if I spoke Spanish as well and I told him a big fat NO!!! So from that point on he taught me some espanol and made me speak to him in Spanish with what little vocabulary I know! It gave us all a good laugh, especially Bray!

Our amazing waiter brought us out dessert like this... Sooo cute I know! Not only did it look so good but tasted so good! It was a hot fudge brownie with dulce de leche! Era delicioso!!! Look at my Spanish skills! haha

Bray devouring our dessert! Dulce de leche is also a favorite of his acquired during his mission!

The fifth day...WOW is all I can say! We went on an all day adventure to an Eco-archeological park called Xcaret! When I say we were gone all day I mean from 7am to 10pm! We were so exhausted by the end of the day but what a fun trip. It was a total blast! We started out the day by snorkeling on the coral reef. The water was so clear and blue. It was beautiful. Brayden is terrified of sharks so I had to convince him to get in the water at first. It took him a couple minutes but he finally got in the water with me and we had such a good time! We saw some of the coolest things!

Next we grabbed lunch at a fun Mexican restaurant! The food was yummy and the atmosphere was so fun!

Bray devouring his food once again! haha

Fun mariachi band! The one on the left loved getting his picture taken! Look at his thumbs up to me haha!

The rest of the day was spent doing many different activities and site seeing at all the attractions at the park! We could have been there for a week and still not seen everything! It was huge!!!

We ended our night at the lllooonnngggeeesssttt show ever haha! It was fun but two hours into it I was ready to pull my hair out and I though Bray was going to go crazy! It was pretty interesting but got old after a while! Bray and I made the best out of it and laughed and had fun. Then we both slept on the way back to the hotel!

Us  going into the show with some performers in the background!

After our long day we still had enough in us to laugh at the sign hung up on our bus on the ride home! haha

Our trip was absolutely amazing! We had so much fun...not because we were in Mexico necessarily but because we got to spend so much time together. We always have fun no matter where we are. Brayden is truly my best friend. I can't wait to take many more trips together throughout our lifetime!

Yay!! We are sooo excited to finally start our first blog! Bray and I have been wanting to start one for a while now but with our crazy, hectic life's we are just getting around to it. I am anxious to recap all of our great memories over the past couple of months! We got married in the Salt Lake City temple on October 14, 2011! We had such a blast dancing and visiting with everyone!
